Historique :	Oeuvre picturale importante qui fait partie intégrante du décor du palais de Chaillot dans sa version de 1937, conçue (en arrondi) pour l'ancien bar-fumoir détruit en 1964-1965 lors de la création de la salle Gémier. Déposée en morceaux lors de la création de salle Gémier en 1963. Puis il a été remontée au musée des monuments français. Elle formait la symétrie d'une toile aux mêmes dimensions de Dufy intitulée De Paris à la mer.

Précision sur_l'état :	Roulée sur cylindre dans du papier Kraft, évacuée de la Galerie Davioud (cf sinistre Galerie Carlu). Restauration en 1997-1998. Présentée sur le mur en bas de l'escalier Paris.
Précision_sur la protection :	Le palais de Chaillot est classé MH le 24/12/1980 avec son décor intérieur.
