Historique :	Les anciennes cloches ont été fondues en grande partie à la Révolution. L'une d'elles, dénommée Jacqueline, offerte en 1400 par Jean de Montaigu (frère de l'évêque Gérard), qui lui donna le nom de sa femme, fut refondue en 1430, puis en 1681, époque à laquelle elle fut appelée Emmanuel, par Louis XIV et Marie-Thérèse d'Autriche. La fonte ayant été manquée, elle fut refaite en 1686. C'est cette cloche qui est aujourd'hui le gros bourdon. Elle pèse 13000 kg et est actionnée par huit hommes.
