Description :	Ce banc d'oeuvre est disposé en forme de portique de style grec, dont le couronnement représente le Triomphe de sainte Agnès, accompagnée de deux anges porteurs l'un de la palme, l'autre de la couronne. Au centre du monument est un médaillon soutenu par trois anges et orné, dans son milieu, d'un Christ mis en croix.

Historique :	Le banc d'oeuvre a été exécuté par Pierre Lepautre (1660-1744), d'après les dessins de Sylvain Cartaud (1675-1758) et, exécuté vers 1720. Il a coûté 20000 francs. Le régent a contribué à la dépense en dédommagement d'un tableau d'Annibal Carrache, représentant saint Roch, qu'il avait fait enlever de l'église. Les armoiries, grâce à leurs attributs, ont été épargnées par les révolutionnaires. Le monument lui même fut transformé en tribune aux harangues.
